Board of Directors

Anne Marie Ohly - President

Nancy Sims - Vice President

Nancy Sims has been a part time Summit County resident since 1996, a full time resident since 2005 and member of the LDFPA since 2008.  A farm girl from Illinois and a U of I grad, she has enjoyed expanding her interests with involvement in our outstanding local theatre.  Before moving to Keystone, she was basically a wife to Doug, a mom to Rob and Anne and a grandma to 3 great kids.  Volunteer work included church, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, school actives and the Denver Junior Symphony Guild.  Her main job was being a "corporate wife".  Involvement with the arts has been quite a change, but a very rewarding one.

Chris Ornes - Treasurer

Chris Ornes has been volunteering at the theatre since 2002 and on the board of the theatre since 2009. He also serves as Treasurer. Chris started coming to Summit County in the mid 80’s and bought a place at Keystone in 1991. He is a part time resident enjoying the winters and summers in the mountains. He is a retired corporate finance executive and commercial banker.   When not in Keystone, Chris and his wife CJ, spend time in Dallas with their children and 5 grandkids. They enjoy skiing, golf, motorcycling and travel. They are involved in several other non-profits and Chris is a guest lecturer at the University of Va.’s Darden School of Business.

Renee Stoller - Secretary

Carolyn Sachs - Development Chairperson

Carolyn joined the Lake Dillon Theatre Company Board in 2010. Her parents introduced her to Broadway theatre when she was six.  After seeing one performance of “The Music Man,” she was hooked!  Her professional career has focused on improving the use of communications media and information technology by nonprofit organizations.  Since 1990, Carolyn has been a consultant and Board member of numerous nonprofit organizations. Her specialties include strategic planning, fundraising, and program evaluation.  She also serves on the Board of the Summit Medical Center Health Foundation. Carolyn and her husband Alan Ciamporcero, relocated to Breckenridge from Tampa, Florida, in 2009.  Alan, a retired Verizon executive, is a novelist, whose most recent book is called “Made in Italy.” Their daughter Anna graduated from the Theatre Program at Northwestern University in 2012.

John Fitzgerald - Immediate Past President

John W. Fitzgerald retired from the US Navy (1985) and United Airlines (2002).  During retirement he has become a community volunteer.  For his homeowner’s association, John has worked as Architectural Control Committee member, Board member, and since 2006, Board President.  He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Lake Dillon Theatre Company, acting as Treasurer from 2006 – 2009 and President in 2010.  During ski season, John volunteers with the Keystone Adaptive Ski Center supporting the staff during on mountain instruction of disabled skiers.  John has been on the Keystone Science School Board of Directors serving as co-chair since its inception and can always be found volunteering for Science School support activities and building sets at the LDTC (among many other activities).

 Peg Henry - Past President

Peg grew up in western Michigan and graduated from the University of Michigan where she met her husband, Lee.  Moves during Lee's business career took their family to numerous places – some interesting, some not very – including 4 different locations in Europe.  Though they have been homeowners in Keystone since 1986, they became full time residents in 2000.  Their widespread family includes 3 children and spouses plus 7 grandchildren, all of whom love to visit sunny Summit County.

After joining the LDF board in 2003, Peg became immersed in its many facets.  She marvels at its growth and vitality under the leadership of Chris, and now also Josh, and looks forward to an exciting future for the organization.  It is a privilege to be a part of this Summit County jewel

Larry Beebe

I retired after 32 years with Johnson Wax and moved to Summit County in 1998.  I have always loved the mountains and enjoyed skiing hiking and biking, so this was a perfect fit.  I became involved in the community soon and was invited to join the Board of the Summit Foundation.  After serving as President for two years, and being a member of the Board for 10 years, I resigned from the Summit Foundation in 2010.

I joined the Lake Dillon Board in 2008 and thoroughly enjoy the experience.  Building sets and attending functions and performances are highlights of my time on the Board.  After twisted knees, sprained ankles and broken arms, I continue to enjoy skiing, hiking and biking in the county. Even though I have moved to Denver I continue to contribute to the Foundation and hope to stay involved for many more years.

Sandi Bruns

Sandi Ericzon Bruns was born in 1942 in Elmhurst, Illinois.  She holds a BA in Design and Fashion and Textiles from University of Iowa and did graduate work at University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin and University of Hawaii earning a BFA equivalent and an MFA in Printmaking from University of Hawaii.  Her prints have won her awards in state art exhibitions and one was selected for the Smithsonian Institute Young Printmakers show where it won a purchase award. In San Francisco she was a juried artist in the William Sawyer Gallery. She had co-written and illustrated a book, “Dress Smart,” (Fairchild, NY) which is now enjoying success in its second edition. After raising two children and doing commercial and commission work for over 20 years, she became involved in public art projects and invitational and juried exhibits in both Omaha, Nebraska and Summit County, Colorado. Her current work is on view at Arts Alive Gallery in Breckenridge.  The arts are her passion and she considers herself "professional audience" for theatre, opera and dance.

Linda Clem

Jean Fitzgerald

A former high school teacher and flight attendant, Jean Fitzgerald joined the theater board in 2006, and hasn't had much free time since! This is truly a "working" board, but she finds it lots of fun to be involved with this exciting and enthusiastic group of people. Chris never runs out of innovative ideas and projects to keep everyone busy. Somehow Jean got to be the chief cook, but this suits her as she actually thinks of baking as a hobby.   Other interests in the county are music events, The Keystone Science School, and outdoor activities including skiing, golfing, hiking and biking. The many cultural and sporting opportunities here are why she chose Summit County as a permanent retirement home.

 Kasey Geoghegan

Kasey Geoghegan joined the LDTC Board of Directors in February 2011 and currently serves on the development committee.  A Summit County resident since 1992, Kasey is the Director of Development for The Summit Foundation.  Through employee giving programs, a patron pass program partnership with local ski areas and several annual giving and endowment fund campaigns, Kasey is responsible for generating more than $1.5 million in fund-raised revenue annually.  Prior to joining The Foundation in early 2007, Kasey was responsible for managing the corporate, foundation and individual donor fund-raising efforts of all divisions of The Keystone Center as well as overseeing local public relations and community efforts. Before her seven year tenure with The Keystone Center, Kasey served as Executive Director of Summit Recycling Project (now High Country Conservation Center) for seven years.

 Ron Holland

Jeff Hyman

Jeffrey Hyman grew up in a small town in the Adirondacks.  He graduated from the University of Vermont and Syracuse University College of Law.  In 1972 He ventured west to Colorado to become law clerk to Judge Sherman G. Finesilver (deceased), Chief Judge, United States District Court, Colorado.  He is a partner in the Denver law firm Lohf, Shaiman, Jacobs, Hyman & Feiger, PC.,  having 40 years of civil litigation experience.  Jeff has been featured for his litigation accomplishments and precedent setting cases in numerous national, local and international articles and programs.  He has been recognized by the Denver Business Journal in the "Who's Who In Professional Service."  He was a captain in the United States Army. Jeff owned property in Summit County since 1978 and became a full time  resident of Silverthorne in 2005.  He has a passion for skiing, biking, hiking, tennis and, of course, the theatre.

Larry Kelly

Jon Kirkpatrick

Don Parsons

Don Parsons, a board member since 2005, is a retired surgeon, sometime actor, avid afficionado of theatre, and community activist. He chewed the scenery in 2010's Christmas Carol as narrator. His hope for LDT is continued excellence, popularity, and well-deserved prosperity.

Debbie Pitman - ex officio

Debbie is a native Californian who became a full time resident in Summit County 9 years ago. She and her husband, Charles, were second home owners in the county and decided to move here permanently when he retired. She has worked in the health care field as an Ultrasound Technologist for more than 30 years. She became involved with the Lake Dillon Theater 3 years ago when she and Charles started attending the theater on a regular basis.

Debbie also volunteers with the Summit High School Pre Collegiate mentoring program and has been a mountain mentor. She enjoys Nordic skiing, hiking, bicycling, cooking and travelling.

She is the current president of the Cast of Characters, the Lake Dillon Theater volunteer group that hosts social events, fund raisers and other activities that support and promote the theater.

Sherry Strong

Ginger Wray

A Colorado native, Ginger Wray has been experiencing Summit County and all it has to offer since ten years old.  Her husband and she made a life style change in 2000 to enjoy the area full time.  She am a strong supporter of the arts and believe it is important to a civilized society to promote academia as well as the arts.  Her husband Joe and she are thrilled to be able to have such quality professional theatre in our small community and to be able to support and promote the LDTC.
